These works are inspired by both, the Australian and European landscapes. It explores colour variation and a range of artistic techniques.
I have a few pieces of Min's art at home. One of the things I love most about MIn's art is the energy it brings into our home. The colour Min uses brings so much life to her work.
I feel Min really knows how to capture the energy from outdoors and nature.

I first met Min in Freshwater 9 years ago when she was working as an artist as well as a teacher I went to my first Melinda Jordi exhibition in 2013 - I was immediately taken by the beautiful colours and textures in Min’s work. It was at this exhibition that i started my collection of her works with my first 2 pieces aptly named “Snorkelling in Freshie”. A number of years later, I commissioned Min to paint me an Owl as a personal project. What I received absolutely blew my mind and showed me the diversity of her talent. We have formed a close personal friendship and i continue to collect more of her work.
If you have a blank canvas and a vision of what you want, landscape, seascape, portrait, abstract, Min will create something truly beautiful and unique which will fill your home with love and colour

When considering the work of Min Jordi, it is only fair to come at this from two places. As a designer/curator, and as a long time collector of her work. Having hung Min's works in many shows over the years, I am always struck by the versatility and skill she displays, and the ease with which she communicates through her work. I remain in awe of how effortless her talent seems to her, and how organised, yet beautifully chaotic her abstract pieces can seem. There’s a humanity there that is both restful yet interesting in a way that feels graceful to witness. Her relationship to colour is incredibly brave, yet balanced; and her composition is fearless with just the right amount of texture, tone and contrast. This statement remains true be it via her monotone sketches, or bold colourful abstracts. Referencing the ease in which I always approach the hanging of Min's work in group exhibitions, I liken her to the drummer of a band. Her work is thecentre piece that keeps time, holds space, and keeps all the other instruments together in perfect harmony.
As a collector, I say simply this: Thank you Min. Your work makes me feel joy and wonder, and even all these years on, is a journey on my walls I still can’t look away from.
